Heritage Fest 2025 is a grand cultural celebration organized by the Hare Krishna Movement, Bhilai. This festival aims to preserve and promote our rich Indian cultural heritage through various art forms and competitions.
Join us in this magnificent journey of cultural exploration where participants showcase their talents in Dance, Music, Literature, Theatre, Drawing, and Decoration. Experience the divine essence of our traditions while competing for exciting prizes.
Our mission is to create a platform where young minds can connect with their roots and express their creativity through traditional and contemporary art forms.
Cultural Education Services
One of the primary purposes of Hare Krishna Movement is to propagate spiritual and cultural knowledge to society at large and to educate all people in relevant techniques to check the imbalance of values in life and to achieve real unity and peace in the world. Towards achieving this objective, Hare Krishna Movement, Bhilai created the Cultural Education Services (CES) in 2011, specifically aimed at enhancing values and life skills in children through culture-related activities. CES department has multiple culture-centric initiatives providing systematic, intensive and performance-oriented training in various art forms even as equipping children with essential life skills.
Guidelines & Information
Guidelines to Participants
- Students may participate in as many events as they like.
- Please bring your Token ID card with ID number that is given by your school teacher to the event without fail.
- Last date for submission of entries is August 5th 2025
- The stage dimension for the entire contest is 18 X 36 feet. Students are requested to practice accordingly.
- Late comers will not be entertained.
- The decision of judges for all the contests will be final.
Results and Awards
- Attractive prizes to winners in the finals will be given away in a grand prize distribution ceremony at Hare Krishna Movement, Bhilai.
- Parents and teachers are also welcome to this ceremony.
- Special prizes will be given to the top 3 schools and to the teachers who have trained the prize-winning students.
- The Rolling Trophy will be awarded to the school with the maximum number of entries in each event and will be performance based.
- Results will be announced on the school display board.
- Phone calls, e-mails or personal visits to know the results will strictly not be entertained.
- The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Important Note
Prasadam will be distributed to all the participants in venue. Non-vegetarian foods, including eggs, are strictly not allowed inside the premises during the Heritage Fest event.

Classical Dance - Bharatnatyam
Showcase the divine art of Bharatnatyam with traditional poses, expressions, and storytelling through dance.
Classical Dance - Others
Perform other classical dance forms like Kathak, Odissi, Kuchipudi, and more.
Semi Classical Dance
Blend traditional and contemporary elements in a beautiful semi-classical performance.
Light Dance
Express yourself through modern and contemporary dance forms with upbeat music.
Gita Sloka Chanting
Recite and chant beautiful verses from the Bhagavad Gita with proper pronunciation and rhythm.
Instrumental Music - Keyboard
Perform classical and light music on keyboard instruments showcasing your musical skills.
Instrumental Music - Percussion
Create rhythmic magic with tabla, mridangam, drums and other percussion instruments.
Vocal Music
Sing devotional songs, classical ragas, or contemporary spiritual music.
Rhymes
Recite beautiful devotional rhymes and poems with expression and clarity.
Story Telling
Narrate inspiring stories from our epics and scriptures with engaging storytelling skills.
Puranic Costumes
Dress up as characters from our ancient scriptures and epics with authentic costumes and presentation.
Coloring
Bring life to beautiful designs with vibrant colors and creative combinations.
Painting
Create stunning artworks using various painting techniques and mediums.
Pencil Shading
Master the art of pencil shading to create realistic and expressive drawings.
Canvas Painting
